Our Genesis
This parturition was conceived in love and ran the gamut of emotion from elation to estrangement, perdition to redemption… our podcast is a celebration of our individual journeys and a collective regenesis during a time signaling a shift in awareness and consciousness from apathy to empathy.
Our goals:
Our design is to inform, engage, inspire and discuss themes that resonate universally within our interpersonal relationships. It’s an honest exploration that begins from the outside in and back out again in this ebb and flow of life and experience in our quest for fulfillment in all its forms.
Spontaneous!
I have had plenty of spontaneous conversations in my many solo trips to the bar but for some reason, the dialogue with Heath was much different. There was a raw connection as we exchanged words and Heath Honored me by asking to exchange these words on Mixed Messages. I’m never nervous to talk but I am weary of microphones. That didn’t matter because the smooth criminal conversationalist that is Heath Burr made me forget about the microphone and it felt like a fun campfire conversation. The depth and the range of the dialogue were very refreshing and allowed me to explore my emotions and expectations in relationships comfortably. The tone Heath sets in conversation remove that fear with understanding and empathy. Hopefully, this level of consciousness is able to reach the hearts and minds of all genders and age groups because everyone deserves to speak freely about their emotions in a healthy way.
Passionate
Heath graciously asked me to be a guest on mixed messages. Honestly, I had mixed feelings about that as I do not like to be the subject of anything public. I came to the microphone closed up like a clam. With his whiskey voice wrapped in velvet and his innate ability to not only make me feel comfortable, but then have me dig deep and share…… Not only made me more aware of my romantic relationship but also created excellent fodder for couples and people looking to explore what I hope to be healthy relationships.
